BioProcess International West: Event Planner
March 5, 2019
BioProcess International US West is the leading phase-based bioprocessing event for accelerating promising biologics toward commercial success. Whereas most bioprocessing event sessions are broken out by departmental function — e.g., analytical, upstream, and downstream — the BPI US West sessions are defined by stage of development, providing drug developers a unique opportunity to break down silos across multiple departments to discuss today’s leading solutions toward improving the speed, lowering the cost, and increasing the quality/safety of biologics in development.
Each year, more than 900 scientists, engineers, and executives working across the entire bioprocess spectrum attend BPI US West to access and discuss the science, technologies, and contacts they need to advance biopharmaceuticals and novel products through the pipeline. The meeting’s large multiple-track format covers critical topics ranging from early stage process development to commercial manufacturing, making BPI US West a one-stop shop for the biopharmaceutical industry to stay up to date on today’s key science and technologies. This year’s meeting is scheduled for 11–14 March 2019 at the Santa Clara Convention Center in Santa Clara, CA. The program is headlined by keynote presenters Jens Vogel (president of BI Fremont), Jerry Murry (vice president at Amgen), Rahul Singhvi (chief operating officer of Takeda Vaccines), Eric Fallon (a senior director at Genentech/ Roche), and cancer survivor Toby Peach.
The exhibition showcases bioprocess innovation, featuring more than 80 exhibitors including the leading global contract development/manufacturing organization (CDMO/CMO), contract research organization (CRO), equipment suppliers, and technology innovators who can help accelerate your product to market. Our simple yet effective networking opportunities include attendee luncheons, an evening cocktail reception, an offsite party at a National Football League (NFL) stadium, and a leading partnering app that all make this year’s meeting the must-attend bioprocess event on the west coast.
We hope to see you there!
