The Editor in Chief is delighted to receive unsolicited manuscripts — and also enjoys working with authors at the planning stages to ensure that their manuscripts have the best chance of successfully navigating our in-house and peer-review processes. The attached author guidelines detail our main themes and procedures, also listed below (issues with room still available).

When you are ready to submit your manuscript, please log onto www.editorialmanager.com/biop. You will be asked to create an ID and password, and the directions will then lead you through the steps of uploading your materials. You should receive an email shortly after uploading, confirming that all your materials have been received.

We encourage authors to use the new system, but we are happy to receive manuscripts through email if you are more comfortable with that process — especially because we editors are still getting used to it ourselves!
