Features: The KrosFlo automatic backpressure valve controls the transmembrane pressure (TMP) or permeate back pressure during tangential flow filtration processes without contacting the fluid stream. It is thus useful for automated process control of single-use TFF processing. When attached to a flexible tubing retentate line, the valve automatically opens and closes to maintain a user-defined TMP. When attached to a permeate line, it opens and closes to maintain a user-defined permeate back pressure.
